Argon 18 Sponsors Kieran Doe

Montreal, Canada, May 1- Argon 18 is particularly happy to announce its new sponsorship agreement with New Zealander Kieran Doe. This athlete is without question one of the most promising new stars in the triathlon world and his joining the Argon 18 team perfectly complements the distribution network reinforcement program currently underway at Argon 18. The sponsorship deal was in fact signed with Jianni Koutsos of FRF Sports of New Zealand, exclusive distributor of Argon 18 products there.

Director of sponsorship programs at Argon 18, Marc-André Perron noted that an outstanding athlete such as Kieran makes an ideal ambassador for a growing company like Argon 18. ''Kieran is blessed with rare athletic talent. He's an excellent swimmer and strong rider. He is tenacious and always races at the front. There is a clear parallel between his qualities and the ones embodied in our bikes; it's a good match that came naturally''.

On his way to Ironman Hawaii (for which he has qualified), Kieran will ride the E-112. This bike is one of the more remarkable models in the Argon 18 lineup and is a product of the company's Element 114 project which won Argon 18 the Institut Design Montréal's first prize in 2007.

Earlier this year, he qualified for Kona by taking third place in Ironman New Zealand. In 2007, he won Ironman Canada, gaining an early lead that he kept to the end.
